Villa Tortuga - Nosara

We stayed at this huge apartment in Nosara for a lovely family vacation. The owner manager, Dave, was incredibly welcoming and always available for our needs. The location was perfect, right on the main street filled with restaurants and shops. And of course, the highlight was Playa Guiones, an amazing beach just a short walk away. The pool at Villa Tortuga was the cherry on top, perfect for cooling off after a day at the beach. The staff was attentive and the daily housekeeping was exceptional. We highly recommend this family-friendly accommodation.

We recently stayed at a centrally located villa in Playa Guiones for a week-long family vacation. Dave, the owner, was incredibly helpful and responsive, going above and beyond to assist us when we were stranded during a heavy rainstorm. The villa itself was spacious and well-equipped, perfect for our family of five. We loved being able to walk to the beach for breathtaking sunsets and explore the nearby restaurants, surf schools, and shops. We can't wait to return!

We got amazing value for our money at Villa Tortuga in Nosara. The family room was spacious with four supremely comfortable beds. The hotel is just a stone's throw away from the beach and the courtyard with a plunge pool is a great added bonus. The staff, including the owner/manager, were helpful and friendly, making our stay more fun.

Menu for breakfast could use a little improvement, perhaps adding more variety to the options available.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The apartment was huge and had everything we needed for our family of five with young children. The owner manager was very cute and available for anything we needed. The hotel's location on the Main Street of the village was perfect, with great restaurants and shops nearby. But the highlight was definitely the fine Playa Guiones beach, just a short walk away. After spending the day at the beach, jumping into the pool at this hotel was the perfect way to end a perfect beach day.

Roads were rough and poorly marked.

Perfect location near Playa Guinones beach, clean rooms and updated kitchen, friendly and helpful host, refreshing pool, shared patio/BBQ area for family meals outside.

Nothing not to love.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the area. They were always available to assist me, even going above and beyond by helping me when my car broke down during a holiday. The hotel's central location was perfect, allowing me to easily access the beach and nearby restaurants, surf schools, and shops. I also loved the spacious bathroom and the comfortable towels provided for both the bathroom and the pool.

Some construction noise can be heard in the mornings from a neighboring property.

One negative aspect was the size of the bed in our room, which was too small and short, not ideal for taller individuals. Additionally, the comfort of the mattress and pillows could have been better.

The owner, Dave, was helpful and even helped us get coolant for our engine when we were stranded in a downpour. The location of the villa is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and many restaurants and shops. The family room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and the amenities were great, including a hammock on the balcony. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in Nosara.
